NHS Color Run & Walk 2025

The National Honor Society (NHS) at Harts Bluff Early College High School in Mount Pleasant, Texas, is organizing the 2025 Color Fun Run to raise funds for Grace Cases. Grace Cases is a local organization dedicated to providing support and resources to children entering foster care, offering them essential items and comfort during transitional periods.

The Color Fun Run is a family-friendly event where participants run or walk a designated course while being doused with vibrant colored powders at various stations. This lively and enjoyable activity aims to promote community engagement, encourage physical activity, and support a meaningful cause.

Event Details:

• Date: May 10th

• Time: Registration opens at 9. Races start at 10

• Location: Harts Bluff ISD Campus, Mount Pleasant, Texas

• Registration Deadline to get the Fun Run Kit: April 25th 

How to Register:

Participants can register for the event by visiting the Fun Run website or emailing Mrs. Buckner at bucknerh@hbisd.net. Early registration is encouraged to ensure adequate preparation and availability of event materials.

Additional Information:

• Attire: Participants are advised to wear white clothing, and shoes you don't mind getting color on to fully enjoy the colorful experience. Those who purchase the Early Bird Kit will recieve a t-shirt. 

• Safety Measures: Non-toxic, biodegradable colored powders will be used. We do advice you to bring your own mask or face cover, hat or hair protection and eye wear. Those who purchase the Early Bird Kit will recieve sunglasses. 

• Clean up: It is suggested that each runner brings baby wipes and towels to clean skin and protect your vehicle. Leaf Blowers and fans will be available on site to dust the power off after the run. 

• Volunteers: Community members interested in volunteering for the event can contact the NHS coordinator, Mrs. Buckner at Harts Bluff ISD.

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Grace Cases, aiding their mission to support children in foster care within the community. This event not only offers a fun-filled day for participants but also strengthens community bonds and supports a noble cause.
